Absolute Perma-Death

How to Transfer Your Dead Character to Classic Era
Follow these exact steps to rescue your fallen hero and move them into the permanent Classic Era ecosystem.
Accept the Fallen State
After dying, release your spirit. You will spawn at the nearest graveyard as a ghost. You can wander the realm and chat with other ghosts or guild members, but you cannot resurrect.
Log Out to Character Select
Log out back to the character selection screen. Your character will appear in ghost form with a skull indicator next to their name.
Click 'Shop' -> 'Free Character Move'
In the bottom-left corner of the character selection screen, click the Blizzard Shop button and select 'Free Character Move'.
Select Destination Realm
Choose an available permanent Classic Era ('Forever') PvE or PvP realm in your region (such as Whitemane, Mankrik, or Firemaw).
Resurrect in Classic Era Forever
Once the transfer completes (usually in 2-5 minutes), log into your new Classic Era realm. Your character will be alive and fully playable with all their items!
